    • 4th Grade Teacher
      • Purpose of this position: The Fourth Grade Teacher ensures that all students in grade four grow in their knowledge and integrated understanding of language, mathematics, science, history, literature, etc. as well as deepen their love of Christ and His Church. This role is for the 26-27 school year.

        Role responsibilities:

        Teach fourth grade classes as assigned
        Serve as a homeroom teacher
        Attend staff meetings, conferences, and in-service days
        Provide appropriate feedback to school administration, staff, faculty, and students
        Assist with associated school duties such as recess or lunch monitoring, facilitating arrival or dismissal procedures, etc.
        Maintain an orderly classroom
        Follow all school handbook policies
        Compensation

        Salary Range: $38,000-$53,000/year commensurate with experience
        Benefits: As a full-time employee you are eligible for health and dental coverage, 403(b) plan, HSA, and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms.
         

        Qualifications
        Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
        Ability to teach joyfully and effectively to middle school students
        Be a strong role model as a life-long learner and a disciple of Christ as a practicing Catholic.
        2+ years classroom teaching experience preferred
        Familiarity with classical or liberal arts education strongly preferred
        Pass essential background checks
    • Level II Catechist
      • Description
        Salary Range: $18-20/hour. Position expected to be 2 hours/week.

        About the position:
        Holy Family Academy in Saint Louis Park is seeking a Level II Catechist for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program for one session with first graders.  You will work collaboratively with another catechist who will be teaching the other half of the class in a different atrium.  The session would be 1.5 hours Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, depending on availability. Compensation would be for two hours, given the need to prepare and restore the environment.

        Primary Responsibilities:
        • Help children develop their relationship with God through their contact with Scripture, Liturgy, and the History of Salvation.
        • Maintain atrium environment, replacing used materials and preparing the environment for the next Atrium session.
        • Plan which presentations to give to children each week, taking liturgical season into account.
        • Give presentations to small groups of children in the atrium.
        • Maintain accurate records of presentations and children’s work.
        • Work collaboratively with CGS coordinator, teachers, parents, headmaster and pastor.

        Qualifications
        • Active, practicing Catholic with a desire to pass on faith to children.
        • A degree, preferably in theology or religious education.
        • Minimum of Catechesis of The Good Shepherd Level 1 &2a trained required.
        • Experience in CGS preferred with demonstrated ability to manage students.
        • Ability to relate and communicate effectively with parents, headmaster, pastor, and other staff members.
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
        • Successfully complete an Archdiocesan background check, Virtus, and Code of Conduct.

    • Substitute Classroom Teacher
      • Description & Qualifications
        • Short-term and on-call availability
        • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field. 
        • Candidates should have experience working with and/or teaching children
        • Candidates do not need a teaching background or teaching license to be a substitute teacher, just a love of learning and teaching
        • Substitute teacher rate is $70 per ½ day and $120 per full day
        • Candidates must be E-3 credentialed
    • School Kitchen Manager
      • Purpose of this position: To manage all kitchen responsibilities serve school lunches daily to our students (enrollment approximately 210).

        Role responsibilities:

        Ordering & purchasing (online & in-store) food and setting up monthly menus
        Accepting and sorting food deliveries
        Preparing lunches and serving food
        Maintaining a clean kitchen according to local government sanitation standards
        Supervising part-time kitchen assistant or volunteers
        Managing the school lunch ordering software
        Communicating with school staff and administration about lunch schedules or special events
        File and track necessary paperwork related to kitchen management
        This position will have the advantage of being trained by the previous kitchen manager.

        Compensation
        Salary Range: $20-25/hour

        Qualifications
        Attain a Food Manager certificate
        Prior cook experience preferred
        Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office products)
        Have a professional and friendly demeanor
        Be willing to follow directions
        Plan ahead and organize for efficient food service
        Be self-motivated and work independently
        Be able to physically perform assigned tasks which may involve lifting objects up to 35 lbs., work on your feet for extended periods, go up and down stairs
        Be an active and practicing Catholic, preferred
